I have never considered myself a "mountain person." I have always liked the outdoors but I have never considered myself one of those people who loves being surrounded by all things wilderness. Don't get me wrong... I like camping with friends once during the summer, and the occasional hike, but I am always aware of how much work it really is to "rough it", and so, I often just appreciate the mountains from a distance... like on the news and photo post cards. I do, however, consider myself to be one of those people who can easily be inspired by the fabulous lifestyles of others, and I think that may have happened during this engagement session. Angel and Shaun reside in Forrest Hill, and their home is gorgeous. I found myself wanting to immediately sell my house and high tail it up the hill to find some green property with romantic drifts of snow everywhere. I am not sure if was the peaceful atmosphere of the mountains or the sun that broke through the clouds periodically and shined down on these two, but I have been day dreaming about returning to a mountainous place with my Greg ever since. Angel and Shaun, you two are infectious "mountain people" that I just can't get enough of...
We started at the couples gorgeous house...
Angel just so it is all on the table...I pretty much want your hair.
Something about Shaun kickin' around at some rocks all shy like that I just love...
I loved this so much I put it in our window at the studio
The day was complete with rock skipping...
They are probably talking about me and my trash bag covered boot in the water...what can I say?! I am dedicated!
Can't wait for the wedding day guys!
xoxo,
Chantel
